This Refund Policy outlines the circumstances under which GenModi ("we", "us", or "our") may issue refunds for credit purchases on our AI solutions platform ("Service").

By purchasing credits on GenModi, you acknowledge and agree to this Refund Policy.

2. General Refund Policy

All credit purchases are final. Due to the digital nature of our service and the immediate availability of credits upon purchase, we generally do not offer refunds.

Credits are:

  • Non-refundable
  • Non-transferable between accounts
  • Valid for 365 days from the date of purchase
  • Cannot be exchanged for cash or monetary value

3. Exceptions to the Refund Policy

We may issue refunds in the following limited circumstances:

3.1 Technical Errors

If you are charged due to a technical error on our part, such as:

  • Duplicate charges for the same purchase
  • Charges that were not authorized by you
  • System errors that resulted in incorrect charges
  • Credits not delivered after successful payment

To request a refund for technical errors, you must contact us within 7 days of the charge with documentation of the error.

3.2 Service Failure

If our Service experiences significant outages or failures that prevent you from using purchased credits, we may, at our sole discretion:

  • Issue a partial or full refund for unused credits
  • Extend the validity period of your credits
  • Provide additional credits as compensation

3.3 Fraudulent Activity

If your account was compromised and unauthorized purchases were made, we will investigate and may issue a refund if:

  • You report the unauthorized activity within 48 hours
  • You provide evidence of account compromise
  • You cooperate with our investigation
  • The credits were not used before the report

3.4 Legal Requirements

We will comply with refund requirements mandated by applicable consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction.

4. Non-Refundable Circumstances

Refunds will NOT be issued in the following situations:

  • Change of mind: After purchasing credits, you decide you no longer want them
  • Credit expiration: Credits expire after 365 days from purchase (we send expiration reminders)
  • Unused credits: You purchased credits but chose not to use them
  • Dissatisfaction with prompts: You are unhappy with the results of a prompt execution (see Section 6 for prompt-specific issues)
  • AI model limitations: Third-party AI models produce unexpected or unsatisfactory results
  • Account termination: Your account is terminated for violating our Terms of Service
  • Market changes: Changes in credit pricing or platform fees after your purchase

5. Credit Usage Disputes

If you believe credits were incorrectly deducted from your account:

  • Review your usage history in your account dashboard
  • Check for any failed prompt executions that may have consumed credits
  • Contact our support team within 14 days of the disputed transaction
  • Provide specific details about the disputed usage

We will investigate all credit usage disputes and may restore credits if we determine they were incorrectly charged.

6. Prompt Execution Issues

If a prompt fails to execute or produces an error due to a system issue on our end:

  • Credits are automatically refunded if the execution fails before completion
  • If credits are not automatically refunded, contact support with the execution ID
  • We will manually review and refund credits for confirmed system failures

Note: Credits will not be refunded if:

  • The prompt executed successfully but you are unhappy with the results
  • The AI model produced an output, even if unexpected or unsatisfactory
  • Your inputs were incorrect or incompatible with the prompt
  • Third-party AI model limitations or restrictions apply

7. How to Request a Refund

If you believe you are entitled to a refund under the circumstances described above:

  1. Contact our support team at contact@genmodi.com within the applicable timeframe
  2. Provide the following information:
    • Your account email address
    • Transaction ID or receipt
    • Date and amount of purchase
    • Detailed explanation of the issue
    • Supporting documentation or screenshots
  3. Our team will review your request and respond within 5-7 business days
  4. If approved, refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days to your original payment method

8. Refund Processing

8.1 Processing Time

Approved refunds are processed within 7-10 business days. Depending on your financial institution, it may take additional time for the refund to appear in your account.

8.2 Refund Method

Refunds are issued to the original payment method used for the purchase. We cannot issue refunds to a different payment method or account.

8.3 Partial Refunds

In some cases, we may issue partial refunds for:

  • Partially used credit packages
  • Service issues that affected only some of your usage
  • Pro-rated refunds based on credit consumption

9. Chargebacks

Important: If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute with your financial institution without first attempting to resolve the issue with us:

  • Your account may be immediately suspended or terminated
  • All credits in your account may be forfeited
  • Future access to the Service may be restricted
  • You may be liable for chargeback fees and legal costs

We encourage you to contact us first at contact@genmodi.com to resolve any billing disputes before initiating a chargeback.

10. Subscription and Recurring Purchases

If we introduce subscription plans or recurring credit purchases in the future:

  • You can cancel your subscription at any time
  • Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period
  • No refunds are provided for partial subscription periods
  • Unused credits from subscriptions expire according to our standard credit validity policy

11. Creator Earnings

This Refund Policy applies to credit purchases by users. For information about Creator earnings, payouts, and related policies, please refer to the Creator Terms in our Terms of Service.

If a user receives a refund for credits, Creator earnings related to those refunded credits may be adjusted accordingly.

12. Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date.

Material changes will be communicated via:

  • Email notification
  • Notice on the platform
  • Update to the Last Updated date

Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Refund Policy.
